MTI has the pleasure of hosting Jill Cook, PhD, and Jeremey Lewis, PhD, FCSP, for a two-day upper and lower extremity tendinopathy course this Fall.

Course Title: Advances  in Upper and Lower Extremity Tendinopathy; Translating the Science into Treatment

This is a rare opportunity to come and learn from the two global expert clinicians and researchers on tendon rehabilitation in one weekend.

Course Information:

Date: October 18th and 19th, 2025. The class will run from 8am to 5pm both days; lunch is on your own from 12-1pm.

Class size is limited to 35 Physical Therapists and will provide 15 CCUs.

About The Clinicians:

Jill Cook is a physical therapist and Professor in Musculoskeletal Health at the LaTrobe Sport and Exercise Medicine Research Centre at LaTrobe University in Melbourne, Australia. Jill’s research areas include sports medicine and tendon injury. After completing her PhD in 2000, she has investigated tendon pathology, treatment options and risk factors for tendon injury. Jill is a widely respected figure in sports medicine, particularly in the field of tendon injuries and pain. Her research has significantly influenced our current understanding and management of tendon pain.

Jeremy Lewis, a Consultant Physiotherapist and Professor of Musculoskeletal Research at the University of Limerick, Ireland, and Qatar University, Qatar, is a globally recognized authority in shoulder rehabilitation. He brings a unique blend of clinical practice and academic rigor, with extensive training in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, biomechanics, and diagnostic imaging, including ultrasound-guided shoulder injections. His work in the UK National Health Service has earned him a Fellowship of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, the highest honor awarded by the CSP.
