The AAOMPT has been working diligently the last two years to update the Manual Therapy Description of Advanced Specialty Practice (DASP). This document in essence spells out what makes a good manual therapist. They put out a survey to help revalidate this document. The DASP will influence how OMPT education is taken care of for the next 10 years.
