It is not often that I will put in a plug for other Manual Therapy Fellowship Programs, but I am making an exception for this one. Roy Film is an MTI alumnus, and currently on faculty at the University of Maryland. He is starting a full time Fellowship program in at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, and is looking to fill his first cohort. His two other faculty members, Pete Bowman and Alisa Pravdo, are MTI alumni as well. The ad for their program is below.
Over the past several years the University of Maryland School of Medicine has been working on creating a paid 13-month OMPT fellowship program. It will be housed at Camden Yards in the building on the left in the photo below.
We have recently been granted candidacy status from ABPTS and are now able to hire a Fellow-in-Training for this fall. We are offering a highly competitive salary, excellent benefits, and NO TUITION FEE. We are proud to offer a unique learning experience with 3 FAAOMPT faculty as well as medical, dental, and radiology faculty. If you know of anyone interested in pursuing OMPT fellowship training, please forward this information along to them. We appreciate your time in reading this email and your work in moving our profession forward. Please feel free to send to anyone you feel would be interested in this type of opportunity.
