This course is designed to provide the fellow student with the necessary baseline information requisite to orthopedic physical therapy evaluation and treatment of the musculoskeletal system.Through lecture and demonstration, the following topics will be covered: history of manual therapy, basic concepts, management approach to treating low back pain, tissue mechanics, physiology of tissue injury and repair, palpation, articular neurology, examination, Pain Science, joint mobilizations and soft tissue mobilizations.
