This 3-day course is designed to provide the fellow student with advanced clinical skills for diagnosing and treating specific syndromes affecting the lumbar spine by recognizing signs and symptoms related to those syndromes. Through lecture and demonstration, the following topics will be covered: SIJ and pelvic girdle, muscle energy techniques, advanced problem solving concepts, joint manipulations, ANT, soft tissue mobilizations, functional stabilization and the McKenzie approach to treating lumbar spine problems.
This 1-day course is designed to provide the fellow student with advanced clinical skills for diagnosing and treating specific syndromes affecting the thoracic spine by recognizing signs and symptoms related to those syndromes. Through lecture and demonstration, the following topics will be covered: biomechanics and arthrokinematics of thoracic spine and ribs, pathology, rib dysfunctions, muscle energy techniques and joint manipulations.
