This 4-day course is designed to provide the fellow student with advanced clinical skills for diagnosing and treating specific syndromes affecting the cervical spine by recognizing signs and symptoms related to those syndromes. Through lecture and demonstration, the following topics will be covered: biomechanics and arthrokinematics of the upper cervical spine, advanced problem solving concepts, evidence as it relates to upper cervical manipulations, pre-manipulative testing, risks/benefit of upper cervical manipulations, joint manipulations, thoracic outlet syndromes, muscle energy techniques, headaches, soft tissue mobilizations, ANT techniques, movement impairment syndromes, and gait analysis.
