I have been able to meet several other fellows in training as well as PT’s with manual therapy certifications. We have discussed our different curriculum, styles, and manual techniques through our respective certification programs. I truly believe that the MTI certification and fellowship programs are fully grasping the future of this profession.

I would still be doing ultrasound, E-stim, massage, & stretching athletes’ hamstrings all the way down to their nose if you had not established MTI. This is the just beginning, not the end of my career. I’m just going to keep learning and practicing in order to become the great PT.

MTI has completely changed the trajectory of my career. I am now consulting with a local PT college to help them design their manual therapy programing. The classes were entertaining, labs were awesome, as we needed to practice and get feedback consistently, especially over topics we covered earlier in the program. This program also helped me with problem solving as a Physical Therapist in different settings/patient populations as “Geriatric” and “Neuro” patients, whom all have joints and underlying movement impairments.
